Sour Cream Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 3 Tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup water
Directions
Heat the oven to 350° F.
Sift together the dry ingredients and set aside. Beat together the egg and sugar, then mix in the sour cream. Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix well, alternating with the water. Pour into a 9-inch round cake pan and bake until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean, about 30 minutes.
